On Wednesday, July 24 for the first time Polish Girls Surf Champs took place organized by Femi Pleasure and the Polish Association of Surfing.
Despite the demanding conditions there was a sight to behold. 10 surfers participated and confronted in three qualifying heats each 30 minutes long. The girls made most of challenging conditions. Four contestants passed through to the finals. The longest waves belonged to Karolina Wolińska and Karolina Pura, ranked respectively 1 and 2 place. Magda Matuszewska and Paulina Ziółkowska, while participating on shorter boards were catching massive waves, but not so spectacularly long and ranked, respectively, at 3 and 4 place. All the girls showed class and stylish ride. The competition was judged by Jurek Kijkowski , Marek Elzanowski and Wojciech Ochrymowicz .
The award ceremony will be held on Saturday, July 27 during the second edition of Femi Pleasure Surf Festival - Surf Picnic.

Po raz pierwszy w Polsce, specjalnie dla dziewczyn prezentujemy Femi Pleasure Surf Festival! Aby każda z Was miała okazję wziąć udział w tym wydarzeniu podzieliłyśmy imprezę na dwie części: zawody na prognozę - Girls Polish Surf Champs oraz całodniowe warsztaty - Surf Picnic.

Girls Polish Surf Champs to zawody surfingowe na Bałtyku. Każda dziewczyna może wziąć w nich udział, a naprawdę warto, bo nagrody sponsorują Femi Pleasure, Rip Curl oraz Nixon. Zawody są na prognozę, co oznacza, że termin zawodów ogłosimy kilka dni przed zawodami.

Na drugą odsłonę Femi Pleasure Surf Festivalu zapraszamy 27go lipca. Tego dnia na plaży będziecie mogły wziąć udzał w bezpłatnych warsztatach surfingowych, warsztatach na SUPie lub na skimie. Wtedy planujemy nagrodzić zawodniczki biorące udzial w Girls Polish Surf Champs. Oprócz warsztatów na plaży podczas Surf Picnicu czeka was mnóstwo atrakcji. Po zmaganiach z falami będziecie mogły odpocząćw strefie chillout'u Red Bull'a. Całość wydarzenia zakończy wieczorny pokaz specjalny filmu Red Bull Storm Surfers.

Who is ready for a Surf Camp? After first successful year of Femi Pleasure girlie camps we are here to provide you even more this year! Those who had a chance to join the camp last year know how great it was to surf with us. Those who wanted and couldn’t – are dying to participate this year J And those who never heard about our girlie camps – are welcome to join our big surfer girls company! Camp ...is fitting all levels – from beginners till PRO. You will be trained by experienced instructors, who are surfing since 1989 and who are travelling around best surf spots worldwide since 1999. FilSurf surf school has successfully formed surfers and introduced many people into the world of surfing. Surfing is challenging, fun, and a great way to keep fit and meet people. Girls will stay in the spacious and comfortable renovated rural farm with a swimming pool in a small village Praia da Luz, just a 3km from Lagos city and few minutes’ walk from the village centre and the beach. Lagos is located on the south coast of Algarve region, which is famous with its stunning beaches. Every morning starts with healthy breakfast. Few days during a week you will enjoy yoga for surfers (one the farm or on the beach) with balancing and flexibility poses. On the beach you will practice surfing theory in the water. Besides surfing you will enjoy beach games, BBQ and surf videos in the evenings. Waves, adrenalin, fun, unforgettable experience, exciting nightlife and great atmosphere are waiting for you!
